Jon is the director and senior costs lawyer at Williams Associates having practised costs law for almost 30 years and established the firm in 1999. He accepts instructions from both sides of the litigation fence: his caseload consists of paying and receiving party work for solicitors, insurers, loss adjusters, local authorities and non-legal companies and individuals (particularly clinical negligence claims, commercial litigation, planning/compulsory purchase matters and solicitor/client disputes), ranging from low-value/high-volume cases to (mainly) more substantial and technical matters involving millions of pounds.
Jon is particularly renown for his technical knowledge and advocacy skills and is frequently approached even by competitors for advice and guidance. When he has any spare time, Jon enjoys watching any sport, playing his guitars and spending time with family.
